Brief

We designed and produced the first Seichō tour, bringing together Dentsu’s network of employees and clients to communicate their strategy for growth and innovation across all sectors.

In 2023, the collective wanted to revisit, reignite, and reengage with its key audiences, demonstrating that Dentsu is the agency for now and what’s next. As a long-term partner, we were tasked with bringing this 2,500 strong audience together behind one consistent message across three cities and six events (three internal and three external).

Response

Pre-production began by working with Dentsu to incorporate the Seichō ethos, story and identity throughout the experience.

Alongside our delivery partners, we were able to design and produce a unique stage and lighting setup that brought to life the original House of Dentsu – a small building that housed the original Dentsu workplace in 1901.

The set also reused components such as recycled timber and reclaimed scaffolding to minimise carbon impact and wastage, all the while giving presenters a unique and visually striking platform from which to deliver their content. For external events with clients and partners, encouraging commercial conversations was a real priority. To do this we created a 15-stand exhibition for partners such as Adobe, Snapchat and YouTube.

We designed and created each exhibition, which were again modular and thus able to be transported and reused at each location. Together with the Dentsu team, we worked to finalise an agenda across each of the locations that delivered against their objectives. We then delivered each event from start to finish, including delegate management and registration, logistics management, show running, presenter coaching, content creation, content capture and live streaming the event to thousands of virtual attendees online.

Results

Over the course of three weeks, we’d delivered six successful events across three locations for over 2,500 in-person delegates and thousands more, with the event broadcast live to over 20 global Dentsu offices.
