Incentive travel isn’t just about choosing a beautiful location and booking the best restaurants, it’s much more thought out - it’s about understanding your guests and giving them moments that they’d never be able to find themselves.
We recently took 20 guests to Bilbao in Northern Spain, an unexpected destination that many of the guests had never been too and in their words ‘would have never have considered’ until now.
"Absolutely fantastic weekend, loads of emotions and memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for organising such a fabulous weekend.Guys thank you for everything Had an absolutely fantastic time. The work that went into trip didn’t go unnoticed."

Curating, honing and researching takes months - on the ground conversations, site visits – booking a trip anywhere is easy but making it special, creating something unforgettable that the guests would never be able to match takes experience.

We consider many things when we put together incentives…
- Choose a destination that isn’t a typical ‘holiday’ destination
- Make sure the guests have absolutely nothing to worry about (sounds simple, but the most incredible moments are when everything is organised and provided for you, that doesn’t happen everyday and isn’t to be taken for granted!)
- Craft an agenda – don’t bloat it!
- Remind guests that their own time is as special as arranged activities – the simplest of moments can come from a spontaneous moment!
- Consider the menus, mix formal with relaxed, some of the best moments happen during the simplest of times.
- Never be without a plan, a plan b and a plan c – know where you are and be armed with options
We’ve loved getting to know our guests in Bilbao and it’s truly one of the perks of the job – thanks to our guests and Iceland for a memorable trip together.

"In true Iceland style it was a weekend to remember, made so special by the people we spent it with. Special thanks to Jo, Charlie and the team for putting it all together."
