Giving back with Greater Manchester Combined Authority

One of our fundamental values within our business is giving back - we talk about it a lot and we carve time out to help others. We don’t just donate money, we donate our time.

Last week we were given the opportunity to work with Greater Manchester Combined Authority to support with their Leading Lights event.

Leading Lights is a learning event, bringing together best practice examples that have improved children’s sufficiency across the UK to help inspire future service, practice and commissioning developments.

We collaborated with the team on artwork, signage, photography, delegate registration and F&B.

Throughout the day the delegates heard from various authorities from around the country giving Ted style talks about fostering services, community early help and outreach help.

The morning was followed with the afternoon breakout rotations across six areas, allowing delegates to build on what they’d heard during the plenary.

A truly inspirational day hearing from remarkable authorities and presenters, caring for young people who need it most. A pleasure to be a part of.

"Thanks for your help with last week's Leading Lights event. Cascade went above and beyond in supporting the event in central Manchester bringing expertise to help make it a great success. The feedback has been fantastic!"
